Blaine R Olson

Blaine Robert Olson, 67, of rural Cleveland, ND, passed away Tuesday morning, March 5, 2024 at SMP Health – Ave Maria, Jamestown.

Blaine was born June 5, 1956, in Duluth, MN, the son of Sever and LaVay Olson.  The family moved to Maddock, ND, then to Pierre, SD, Medina and Cleveland.  Blaine attended school in Cleveland and worked on the Gary Carlson farm.  He also worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Guthmiller Earthmoving, Cleveland.  Blaine made his home south of Cleveland where he enjoyed gardening, fishing, and riding his Harley motorcycle.

Blaine is survived by his son, Zane; siblings, Linette, Ranelle, Deslee, and Damon; nephew and nieces, Jeremy, Melissa “Missy” (Matt), and Emma; and great nieces & nephews, Keenan, Collin, Maxwell, and Mabel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service – 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2024 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation – 9:00 a.m., to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the funeral home.

Burial – Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND.
