Clifford J. ""Jack"" Cahill, 82, Jamestown, North Dakota died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Jamestown Hospital.

Jack was born January 9, 1925 in Utica, New York, the son of Clifford J. and Sara (Byrne) Cahill. He attended local schools. Jack was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Air Force. On July 5, 1947 he married Cora Davies in Utica, NY. Mrs. Cahill died March 2, 1990. Jack was employed by the New York Central Railroad for 17 years, he then worked for several local businesses.

He was a member of the local American Legion and VFW.

Jack is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Connie Cahill, Jamestown, ND; a son James Cahill and his partner, Jody Brown, Clay, NY; a daughter-in-law, Sue Cahill, New Hartford, NY; eight grandchildren, Shawn Cahill, Conyers, GA, Eric Cahill, Atlanta, GA, McKenzie Cahill, Jamestown, David (Jackie) Cahill, Tina Cahill and Joseph Cahill all of New Hartford, NY, Ryan Cahill, Cicero, NY and James Cahill, Clay, NY; three great-grandchildren, Brekkin Mickelson, Jamestown, Brayden Cahill and Grayson Cahill, both of New Hartford, NY; one brother, Bill (Delores) Cahill, New Hartford, NY; three sisters, Rita (Harold) Caruso, Utica, NY, Judy Cahill and Pat Bogan, both of New Hartford, NY; several nieces and nephews and his former wife, Barbara Ambrose Cahill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Richard and A. Michael Cahill and a brother-in-law, Richard Bogan.

Family Sharing Service: 7:30 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, North Dakota.

Memorial Mass: July 7, 2007 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, New Hartford, New York.

Burial: Crown Hill Memorial Park, Clinton, New York.

In Jack's memory, memorials may be made to Jamestown Hospital Hospice.
