Jeffrey ""Jeff"" Jerry Michel, 34, Jamestown, North Dakota died Saturday, December 16, 2006 as a result of a snowmobile accident in Cook City, Montana.

Jeff was born March 18, 1972 in Jamestown, the son of Jerry and Darlene (Wolf) Michel. He grew up and attended school in the Jamestown area and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1990. On June 8, 1990 Jeff married Julie Entzminger in Jamestown. He farmed with the Entzminger family, later purchasing their own farm south of Jamestown.

Jeff was President of the ND Motorcross club, a member of the Lenton township board and St. John's Lutheran Church. He was recently awarded the ND Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Rancher Achievement Award.

Jeff enjoyed snowmobiling and attending his children's events. He loved farming, working in his shop and entertaining his friends and family. The joy of his life was being with his family.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Julie; his three children: Cody, Kale and Amanda Michel; his parents, Jerry & Darlene Michel; three brothers, Mark (Sheila) Michel, Todd (Rhonda) Michel, Corey (Julie) Michel, and his in-laws, Darrell and Vonnie Entzminger, all of Jamestown.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral service on Wednesday at the church and one hour before the prayer service on Tuesday at the church.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
