Joyce Lundgren

Joyce T. Lundgren, 92, of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Eventide, Jamestown.

Joyce was born November 12, 1925, in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Tina (Rustad) Anderson. She and her family moved to Grand Forks, ND where she graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1943. Joyce married Selmer “Sam” Lundgren on September 7, 1947. Three boys were born to the couple: Lynn (Kathy) Lundgren, Bismarck, ND, Mark (Judy) Lundgren, Jamestown, and Steve (Nancy) Lundgren, Dickinson, ND. The family moved to various places and spent 26 years in Valley City, and in 2001 they moved to Jamestown. Sam died February 29, 2008. Joyce entered Rock of Ages in December 2012 until her short, two-week stay at Eventide.

Joyce is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; and 7 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; parents; and sister, Glendora Sherette.

Memorial Service : 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, with Pastor Kristi Weber officiating.

Inurnment: Woodbine Cemetery, Valley City, ND in the spring.
