Kenneth Leroy Willey, 82, Jamestown, ND died January 20, 2006 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.
Kenneth Leroy Willey was born December 29, 1923 in Windsor, ND to Clifford L. and Mae (Dancer) Willey. He received his education in Windsor schools. Kenneth married Florence Veil on November 6, 1955 in Jamestown. He drove taxi and helped build the Peavy elevator in Jamestown. Kenneth later worked for Jamestown College and C.H. Carpenter Lumber. He worked for Haybuster/Duratech as a machinist for 20 years, retiring in 1988. Kenneth also volunteered at 4-R's and helped his kids with their paper routes. He enjoyed camping, walking, playing cards, gardening, collecting toy cars, riding bike, listening to country music, writing poetry and, most of all, spending time with his grandkids. He never turned down a game or card games with his grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Florence Willey, Jamestown, ND; four sons, Mark (Marina) Willey, Jamestown, ND, Michael Willey, West Valley City, Utah, Myron (Patti) Willey, Valley City, ND, Mitchell (Candi) Willey, Fargo, ND; two daughters, Mary Willey, Jamestown, ND and Marlene (Tim) Partlow, Kensal, ND; fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Marie Ubben, Barnsville, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Walter.
Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. John Syvertson officiating.
Visitation: Monday, January 23, 2006 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
