Luise Remmick

Luise Remmick, 85, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Luise Maser was born March 13, 1923 in Magdeburg, Germany, the daughter of Otto and Luise (Trager) Maser. She attended business school in Berlin, Germany. In 1945, Luise married Dr. Chunyop Kim in Berlin. On July 14, 1964 Luise married John Remmick in Moorhead, Minnesota. They lived in Jamestown. John died May 27, 1982. Luise worked as the retail manager at Stevensons; travel agent for Globe Travel and AAA Worldwide Travel and was the owner and travel agent for James River Travel Agency. In 1995, she was naturalized to the United States.

Luise is survived by two daughters; Dr. Ute Kim of Berlin, Germany and Renate Mohiuddin, Jamestown; and one brother, Wilfried Maser, Hanroth, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands.

No service is scheduled.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, both Tuesday, March 10, 2009 and Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, in Luise's memory, are preferred to the charity of your choice.
