Nathan Lee Hust, 34, Eagan, Minnesota, passed away surrounded by his family at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota on Friday, June 20, 2014. Nathan Lee Hust was born October 25, 1979 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Rodney and Glenda (Dittel) Hust. Nathan graduated from Tappen High School in 1998. He furthered his education at North Dakota State University (NDSU) where he graduated in 2006. He was living in Eagan, MN where he worked at Wells Fargo as a credit loan officer. Nathan worked in sports recreation for many years. Some of the teams he was employed by were Fargo/Moorhead Red Hawks, Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and University of Minnesota Gophers. Nathan had a true passion for all sports. His favorite NFL team was the Denver Broncos. You would always find him at his beloved NDSU Bison Football games with his family and Aunt Nancy. Nathan loved being around family, friends, his niece Nicole, nephew Brendan and the love of his life Melissa McCanney. Growing up Nathan loved being on the farm with his Uncle Jim and Aunt Betty in Tappen. He had a special love for his pets, "Abby" & "Schnookums". He is survived by his parents, Rodney (Glenda) Hust, Jamestown, ND; one brother, Keith (Georgia) Hust, Mandan, ND; one niece, Nicole Hust; one nephew, Brendan Hust, both of Mandan and love of his life, Melissa McCanney, Eagan, MN. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry Hust, Edwin (Julianna) Tweiten, John Dittel; great-grandparents, Adam (Mary) Hust, Gust (Caroline) Geist; one niece, April and one nephew, Joshua.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Zion United Methodist Church, Tappen, ND with Pastor Hazel Behrens, officiating.

Visitation: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 24 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Fisher Cemetery, Tappen, ND.
