Vernon Seibold

Vernon John Seibold, 95, of Jamestown, North Dakota died on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Eventide Nursing Home, Jamestown.

He was born on September 21, 1924, in Sykeston, North Dakota, the son of William and Matilda (Thiesen) Seibold. Vernon grew up on a farm west of New Home, ND and received a great amount of satisfaction from working on his farm west of Buchanan. He was a longtime member of the Cleveland Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Vernon and Carol enjoyed traveling, visiting many countries on farm tours or vacation trips. They also served on trips to construct churches and schools in foreign countries.

In later years, Vernon and Carol enjoyed many winters in Mesa, AZ. They had many friends from North Dakota that they knew and shared recreation with them in Arizona. Many times, their children would visit to share the holidays with them there.

Vernon is survived by his wife, Carol (Carlson) Seibold, son, Ken (Linda) Seibold and their children; Brandon (Jamie) Seibold and Alyssa Seibold, daughter, Jerene (Eric) Nelson and their children, Christopher (Aubrey) Nelson and David (Allegra) Nelson. and son, Dennis (Sherri) Seibold and their children; Laura (Chris) Rivera, Erin Seibold, and Justin (Julie) Seibold, great grandchildren; Aspen Seibold, Adalyn Seibold, Benjamin Nelson, Judah Nelson, Emmaline Nelson, Aila Nelson, Cody Rivera, Bryson Rivera, and sister, Gladys Hulse.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Jamestown Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown with Pastor Eric Nelson.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens
