Adeline Iszler, 80, Jamestown, ND, formerly of Ellendale, ND, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Meritcare Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Adeline Miller was born April 23, 1925 on a farm near Lehr, ND, the daughter of Adam and Elizabeth (Becker) Miller. She attended the country school and then worked with her family on the farm. On November 14, 1948, she married Albert Iszler at Ashley, ND and they moved to Ellendale, ND where they lived until 2005 when they moved to Jamestown, ND.
Adeline's children always came first in her life. She enjoyed bowling, pinochle and baking kuchen. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Zion Lutheran Church, Ellendale, ND.
Survivors include her husband; 3 daughters: Iona (Edward) Pasqual, Waltham, MA; Nancy (James) Mock, Fargo, ND; Marlane (Arnie) Middlestead, Edgeley, ND and a son, Richard, Rockford, MN; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Martha Denning, Seattle, WA; Gladys (Elmer) Bauer, Lansing, MI; June (Milt) Schauer, Ashley, ND; 2 brothers: John Miller, Ashley, ND; Eldo (Caroline) Miller, Ashley, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Hulda Pfeifle.
Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006 at Zion Lutheran Church, Ellendale, ND.
Prayer Service - 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND
Visitation - 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND, noon to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church in Ellendale on Monday.
