Adeline Rath

Adeline Rath, 97, Fargo, ND, formerly of Edgeley, ND, died Monday, May 14, 2007 at Bethany Home in Fargo, ND.
Adeline Agnes Lacina was born April 10, 1910 on the family farm in Badger Township near Berlin, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Koblasse) Lacina. She was raised on the family farm and attended the rural township school. After her schooling she helped out on the farm until she married Otto Rath on October 1, 1935 in Aberdeen, SD. After their marriage, Adeline and Otto farmed near Berlin, ND until their retirement in 1976. Otto died in 1982 and Adeline moved to Edgeley, ND at that time. In December of 2005, she moved to Bethany Home in Fargo, ND.
Adeline was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include 3 children: Roger Rath, Fargo, ND; Doreen (Randy) McFarland, Fargo, ND; Gloria (Don) Meyer, LaMoure, ND; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Ronald and 2 brothers, Alvin and Alfred.
