Aesoph Schulz

Aesoph Schulz, 90, Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at his home.

Aesoph was born February 7, 1922, the son of Fredrick and Helen (Kassman) Schulz.

He married Alvina Martin on November 22, 1953 in the farm home of her parents, north of Lake Williams, ND. Aesoph worked for various farmers in the Robinson and surrounding areas. He worked for Kidder County Construction and Pettibone Patterson Ranch. He retired in 1984. They moved to Jamestown in 1996.

Aesoph enjoyed playing cards and Model A cars. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Aesoph is survived by his wife, Alvina, Jamestown; six children, Myron (Renee) Schulz, Jamestown, Florine Okerlund, Mesa, AZ, Floyd (Jolene) Schulz, Carrington, ND, Elenora Skinner, Fargo, ND, Glenn (Stacy) Schulz, Jamestown and Karen (Tim) Hornung, Cooperstown, ND; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Delores (Jim) Silbernagel, Moorhead, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Reinhold; and one sister, Ella.
