Agnes Olson

Agnes Olson, 88, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Agnes Olson was born November 7, 1920 at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, the daughter of Ole B. and Selma (Nicklason) Olson. She attended Deer Lake township rural school near Cleveland, ND and graduated from Jamestown High School. Agnes received her teaching degree from Valley City State College. She taught for 42 years in the Windsor, Eldridge and Spiritwood, ND areas, as well as other rural schools south of Jamestown. Agnes married Emil Olson at her parent's farm home in 1949. Emil died in 1974.

Agnes is survived by two sisters, Maurinda (Ronald) Rosemore and Delores Boyle, both of Jamestown; and one brother, Darold (Ellen) Olson, Buchanan, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Spring Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
