Agnes Stockert, 70, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.
Agnes Ann Stockert was born October 2, 1938 at Solen, ND the daughter of Alphonse and Rosalia (Froelich) Stockert. She was raised near Solen and attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Solen High School. She moved to Jamestown, ND in 1965 and lived at the Gardenette Homes for over 20 years.
Agnes enjoyed reading, embroidery, music and bingo at the Gardenette Center with her friends. She especially enjoyed holiday gatherings with all her family.
Survivors include 5 brothers: Quentin (Lori) Stockert, Bismarck, ND; Ted (Jan) Stockert, Bismarck, ND; Walter Stockert, Glen Ulin, ND; Andy (Iris) Stockert, Henderson, NV; Blaine "Pat" (Barb) Stockert, Jamestown, ND; 4 sisters: Irene (Phil) Hoffman, Bismarck, ND; Betty Craig, Superior, MT; Felice (Gary) Enright, Kansas City, MO; Rosemary (Wayne) Skiftun, McCall, ID; a brother-in-law, Raymond L. (Julie) Johnmeyer, Fayette, MO; 3 sisters-in-law: Catherine (Leo) Stockert-Martin; Willie (Joe) Stockert, Washburn, ND; Sherri (Dennis) Stockert, Denver, CO and a special friend, Ruth Soma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers: Joe, Ed, Leo, James, Dennis; a sister, Juliana (Ray) Johnmeyer; 4 sisters-in-law: Vi (Walt) Stockert; Judy (Andy) Stockert; Sylvia (James) Stockert; Irene (Ed) Stockert; 2 brothers-in-law: Leroy (Felice) Jenner; Jerry (Betty) Craig and a special friend and finance, Arndt Severson
Funeral - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.
