Alan Mcmurray

Alan McMurray, 68, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Jamestown Hospital.

Alan was born September 12, 1940 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Durwood and Alma (Anderson) McMurray. He served in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964. Alan worked as a shoe salesman, telemarketer, and at various other jobs.

He enjoyed music, especially playing his guitar.

Alan is survived by his brother, Gary McMurray, Jamestown; and three sons, Darren, Dean and Derek, all of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Danielle.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Gene Haugen officiating.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota
