Albert G. Moos

Albert G. Moos, 89, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Medina, ND, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Bethany Homes in Fargo, ND.

Albert Moos was born September 19, 1918, in Medina, ND, the son of Jacob and Marie (Mayer) Moos. He attended country schools near Medina and joined the Civil Conservation Corps. in the 1930's. Albert entered the US Army on February 21, 1942 at Ft. Snelling, MN. He was a Military Policeman during WWII and was discharged on March 9, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis as a Sergeant. Albert returned to Medina and married Magdalene Hertley in Jamestown, ND on October 2, 1950. They lived on a farm northwest of Medina until 1988 when they moved to Medina. Magdalene died on December 10, 1994. Albert moved to Fargo in the fall of 2003 and lived at Bethany Homes, the last three years in the Memory Care unit.

Albert is survived by one son, James (Debbie) Moos, Fargo, ND; one daughter Eleanor Heinz, Fargo, ND; two grandchildren, Nicole Heinz, Arlington, VA and Brian Heinz, Fargo, ND; one brother, Robert (Deanna) Moos, Brush, CO; two sisters, Leona (Ted) Weisser, Jamestown, ND and Pauline Dorval, Fargo, ND; and one brother-in-law, Joseph Oschner, Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; five brothers, Leon, Arthur, Reuben, Leonard, and Clarence; and one sister, Irene Olson.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM, Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Cleveland Seventh Day Adventist Church, Cleveland, ND with Pastor Marty Thurber officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND.
