Alice Christensen

Alice Christensen, 93, Jamestown, ND died at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown on Thursday, August 11, 2005.
Alice Marie Dahl was born on May 11, 1912 at Courtenay, ND the daughter of Peter and Selma (Johnson) Dahl. She attended the Kensal Schools and later received a teaching certificate from Valley City State Teachers College in Valley City, ND. Alice taught at rural schools near Kensal, ND. She married Clair Christensen on July 5, 1941 at Kensal and they lived in Kensal until moving to Jamestown, ND. She was a member of First United Methodist Church; Marcy Circle and was a Sunday school teacher and the church secretary for some years. Alice was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her kind, gentle and loving spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Kay (Gary) Dahl, Anoka, MN and Linda Mann, Colorado Springs, CO; 1 son, Erik (Patricia) Christensen, Baxter, MN and 7 grandchildren. Her husband, parents, and an infant brother preceded her in death.
