Alicia C. Stratford

Alicia C. Stratford, 29, Gwinner, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown, North Dakota died June 4, 2009 at her home.

Alicia Stratford was born March 4, 1980 in Bellevue, Washington, the daughter of Chris and Jacquelyn (Brown) Stratford. She graduated from Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown College and later North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. She lived in Jamestown, Fargo and Gwinner.

Alicia had a love of animals and music. She left us to early and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Alicia is survived by her parents, Chris and Jacquelyn Stratford, Jamestown; three brothers, Nick (Danielle) Stratford, Mill Creek, WA, Jeff (Sarah) Gould, Fargo, ND and Eric Stratford, Sioux Falls, SD; three sisters, Elizabeth (Gary) Long, Woodinville, WA, Tessa Gould, Sioux Falls, SD and Cassie Stratford, Henderson, NV; her maternal grandmother, Mirt Brown, Jamestown; fiance', Steve Miller, Gwinner, ND; five nephews; and one niece.

Funeral Mass: 2:00 PM, Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, with Father Joe Barrett officiating.

Visitation: 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND.

Vigil: 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Jack Brown Memorial Scholarship at Jamestown College.
