Alvina Stolz, 102, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.
Alvina Truatmann was born July 15, 1904 in Cleveland, North Dakota, the daughter of Peter and Christina (Trautman) Trautman. She was raised on the family farm, north of Cleveland and received her education in rural schools. Alvina married Ed Stolz on January 20, 1925 at Cleveland. They moved to Hebron, ND in 1927 where she was a homemaker. They returned to Medina in 1932 and moved to Jamestown in 1943. Ed died on March 25, 1967. Alvina was living at Hi-Acres Manor.
Alvina was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jamestown.
Alvina is survived by her sister, Clara McGruder of Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter in infancy; four brothers, Christ, Emil, Ted and Rueben and four sisters, Amelia Trautman, Frieda Hastings, Bertha Lonski and Eva Becker.
Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Fist Baptist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Wayne Bangs officiating.
Visitation: 1:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
