Amelia Nagel, 93, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Central Dakota Village in Jamestown.

Amelia Boschee was born January 1, 1914 in Wishek, ND, the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Rudolph) Boschee. She grew up and attended school in Wishek. On November 14, 1935 Amelia married Edwin Nagel in Lehr, ND. She farmed with her husband until they moved to California in 1956. They later returned to Jamestown where she worked for many years as a cook at the North Dakota State Hospital.

Amelia was very involved in her church. She enjoyed ceramics, quilting, knitting and crocheting.

Amelia is survived by her husband, Edwin, Jamestown; one son, Donovan (Karen) Nagel, Lake City, MN; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Bothne, Jamestown and Louise Koepplin, Wishek, ND.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathleen, in infancy and Connie Schuler; six sisters; five brothers and her parents.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2007 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Jamestown with Rev. Gary Ball-Kilbourne officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
