Aminda Weaver, 86, Jamestown, North Dakota, formerly of Millarton, North Dakota died Sunday, October 20, 2002 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, North Dakota.
Aminda Spitzer was born July 14, 1916 in rural Wilton, N.D., the daughter of Carl and Lydia (Brenneise) Spitzer. She grew up and attended school in the rural Wilton area.
Aminda married John ""Bud"" Weaver on November 14, 1935 in Wilton, N.D. They lived in Bismarck, N.D., for a short time, then moved to the Millarton and Montpelier area in 1944 where they farmed. They lived in Jamestown for 15 years and returned to Millarton. Bud died on June 5, 1988. In 1990 Aminda moved to Jamestown, N.D.
Aminda is survived by a daughter Gloria (Germaine) Bohnenberger, of Moorhead, MN; a son, Gary (Michele) Weaver, of Montpelier, N.D.; four grandchildren (Dawn (David) Martinson, Layne (Kelli) Bohnenberger, Corey Weaver, Kali Weaver) and five great-grandchildren (Brandon, Jordon, and Carter Martinson, Tyler and Lexee Bohnenberger). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, (John D. Weaver), a daughter (Carol), five sisters, (Agnes Miller, Aileen Vernon, Edna Barnick, Laundina Kemph, and Pauline Myton), and five brothers (Fredrick, Otto, Robert, Leonard, and Herbert).
Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. - Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, N.D., with Rev. David Thompson officiating.
Visitation: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, N.D.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, N.D.
