Andrew Hagen Sr., 64, Detroit Lakes, MN, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Andrew Leroy Hagen was born January 4, 1944 at Steele, ND, the son of Oscar and Louise (Dewald) Hagen. He was raised and attended school in Medina, ND. After his schooling, he enlisted in the U. S. Army on Dec. 28, 1961. Following his discharge in 1964 he lived in Jamestown, ND where he worked at Western Gear and as a house painter. On February 24, 1973, he married Jerilynn Hatch in Moorhead, MN. They later separated.
Andrew enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Jerilyn, Carrington, ND; 2 daughters, Kari Hagen, Jamestown, ND and Christina Hagen, Kennewick, WA; 3 sons: Adam Hagen, Jamestown, ND; Alan Hagen, Bismarck, ND and Scott Hagen, Kennewick, WA; 3 sisters: Betty (Don) Eckart, Jamestown, ND; Mary Jacobs, Moorhead, MN; Pat Vice, Pontoon Beach, IL and 1 brother, Alvin (Darlene) Hagen, Spearfish, SD and a special friend, Judy Omundson and her children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Andrew LeRoy Jr. and 2 sisters, Rose Remmer and Margaret Speyers.
Memorial Service - 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.
