Angela Brennan

Angela Brennan, 90, Montpelier, ND died at Jamestown Hospital on Friday, November 27, 2009.

Angela Juanita Stott was born on October 23, 1919 at Montpelier, ND the daughter of Frank and Mary (Scheneker) Stott. She attended the Montpelier Schools and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1937. She married James "Jay" Murray in 1940. He died in 1949 and she married James Connery in 1952 at Montpelier. He died in 1959. Angela married Don Brennan at Montpelier in 1966. Angela attended NDSU at Fargo in 1973 and received a degree in geneology.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Karen (Barney) Murray-Hitt, Memphis, TN, and Kim (Steve) Skar, Fargo, ND; 2 sons, James (Sandra) Murray, Bismarck, ND and Kevin (Carol) Connery, Montpelier, ND; 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Angela was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 2 daughters, Mary Murray-Thomas and Debra (Gene) Connery-Lockwood, and 1 brother Frank Jr.

Angela was a member of St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND. She was the author of "Montpelier,The First Hundred Years".

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December, 2, 2009 at Montpelier Lutheran Church, Montpelier, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lisko Funeral Chapel and 1 hour prior to services in the church on Wednesday.

Interment: St. Hubert's Cemetery, Montpelier, ND.
