Anita Jo Ackerman

Anita Jo Ackerman, 29, of Jamestown, ND died on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.  Anita Jo Ackerman was born on August 11, 1992, in Jamestown, the daughter of Bruce Ackerman and JoAnn Iglehart.  She received her elementary education in Fairfield, ND and moved back to Jamestown for her high school education.  Anita loved to talk and had quite the imagination when telling stories. She was creative, enjoyed art, and had aspirations of becoming a gourmet cook. Not only was Anita an avid Vikings fan, but she loved being outdoors, fishing, hiking, and riding 4 wheelers.

She is survived by her children; Elaida, Shaila, and Kevin.  Her parents; Bruce Ackerman of Jamestown, ND and JoAnn Iglehart of South Heart, ND, grandparents; Jim and Betty Iglehart, Garrison, ND, brother; Austin Ackerman (Chelsae), Jamestown, half- brothers; Nathaniel Haverluk, Dickinson, ND, Jaydon Haverluk and Josiah Haverluk, South Heart, nephew; Brighton Ackerman, Jamestown, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Donald and Vye Ackerman and Margaret (Peggy) Iglehart.

Memorial Service: Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2 PM at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Bryce Tahran to officiate.

Burial will take place at a later date.

Eddy Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
