Ann Murchie

Ann Marie Murchie of Jamestown, ND passed away on December 25, 2017 at the Sandford Medical
Center in Fargo, ND at the age of 76. She was born in Boise, ID on August 15, 1941 to
John James Murchie and Ruth Marie (Brooks) Murchie. She grew up in Sarles, ND and graduated
from Sarles High School in 1960. Ann served in the United States Air Force before entering
Nursing school and graduating as an LPN from Lake Region Nursing School in Devils Lake, ND.
She was employed and retired from the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown and the US
Army reserves. She had been a resident of the North Dakota Veteran's Home in Lisbon, ND since
March of 2015.
She is survived by her brother, Scot (Denise) Murchie of Stockon, KS; niece, Heather
(Dustin) James of Farmersville, TX; nephew, Adam Murchie of Hays, KS; and brother Roger Murchie.
She was preceded by her parents and brother, Kirk Murchie.
Memorials to the North Dakota Veteran's Home in Lisbon ND, Sarles American Legion in Sarles, ND, and The Jamestown Arts Center in Jamestown, ND.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 5th, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown with Rev. Robert Boyar officiating
Burial: Sarles Cemetery, Sarles, ND with military honors at a later date.
