Anna Kuhlmann

Anna L. Kuhlmann, 96, Valley City, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City. Anna was born May 23, 1907 in Chaseley, North Dakota the daughter of L.A. & Ella Nora (Kibbey) Wright. She attended Bowdon-Chaseley country schools until 8th grade. Anna married Lloyd Kuhlmann on January 15, 1936 in Wimbledon, North Dakota. They farmed south of Wimbledon for many years. Lloyd died November 2, 1977. In 1980 Anna moved to Jamestown where she lived in the Gardenette and was a senior companion for the Gardenette Homes. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, cooking and gardening.

Anna is survived by two sons; Lloyd (Becky) Kuhlmann of Jamestown and Allan (Ardis) Kuhlmann of Oxford, WI, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and six brothers.

Funeral Service 1:30 PM, Sunday, July 20, 2003 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wimbledon, North Dakota with Rev. Robert Leiste officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon, North Dakota.
