Anna Wagner

Anna Wagner, 97, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Roseadele in Jamestown.

Anna Morlock was born February 22, 1916 in Pettibone, ND the daughter of August and Christina (Landenberger) Morlock. She attended school at Lake Williams. On February 13, 1944 Anna married Howard Wagner in Pettibone. Anna and Howard farmed 10 miles north of Pettibone until moving to Jamestown in 1999. They spent most winters in Texas.

Anna loved to play bingo, cards, crossword puzzles, visiting with people and especially spending time with her family. She played most musical instruments by ear and belonged to a Kitchen Band in Texas.

Anna is survived by five children: Hubert (Joady) Wagner, Pettibone, Barbara (Loren) Wentz, Hebron, ND, Janet Jacobson, Donna, TX, Dale Wagner, Pettibone and Gail (Warren) Jewett, Jamestown; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, June Morlock, Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Don; daughter, Mary; three sisters, Clara, Emma and Maria and two brothers, Albert and Leonhard.
