Arlyss A. Tokach, 72, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown.
Arlyss Domek was born April 27, 1934 in Jamestown, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy Domek. She grew up and attended elementary school in Montpelier and graduated from Jamestown High School. Arlyss worked at Harty Insurance after graduation until her marriage to Marvin Tokach on July 14, 1953 at St. James Catholic Church in Jamestown. She also worked for a short time at Don's House of Flowers.
Arlyss belonged to many clubs; including dance, bridge and arts & crafts. She enjoyed traveling to many countries, interior decorating, reading and crossword puzzles.
She was a member of the Basilica of St. James, Jamestown.
Arlyss is survived by her husband, Marvin, of Jamestown; three children, Craig Tokach, Madison, WI, Lynette Tokach, North Liberty, IA and Stacey (Doug) Martin, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie (Don) Olson, Montpelier, ND and Gladys (Tony) Casey, Cottage Grove, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Phyllis Drummond.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM, Friday, March 30, 2007 at the Basilica of St. James, Jamestown with Father Al Bitz officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Prayer Vigil: 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
