Arnold E. Pieske

Arnold E. Pieske, 90, Jamestown, N.D. died Monday, December 2, 2002 at the Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, N.D..

Arnold was born on September 9, 1912 at Lamberton, Minnesota, the son of Otto and Emma (Matzke) Pieske.

Arnold married Olga Liberda on July 27, 1933 in Jamestown. They made their home on a farm in Paris Township near Woodworth for 34 years until retiring. Olga died October 10, 1975. Arnold retired from farming and moved to Jamestown. He moved to Rock of Ages Care Center in March 2001.

Arnold was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, dancing and music.

He is survived by 2 sons, Richard ( Marlys) of Jamestown; Gary ( Connie) of Detroit Lakes, Mn; 2 daughters, Cheryl ( Don) Meier and Linda ( James ) Kuhn all of Bismarck; 2 daughters-in-law, Marlene Pieske of Jamestown and Connie Pieske of Gardner, N.D.; a sister, Evelyn Harr of Woodworth; 9 grandchildren, Douglas, David, Dwayne Pieske, Mike Stebner, Terri Tufte, Scott Kuhn, Tami Froelich, Ryan Pieske and Lynsie Pieske;

8 great grandchildren ? Alex and Chris Pieske, Casey, Chase and Jesse Froelich, Sabrina Stebner, Thomas Kuhn and Whitney Tufte; 3 step great grandchildren ? Cole, Lukas and Kylee Meier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 3 sons- Leroy, Donald and Dennis and a brother Robert.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. - Thursday, December 5, 2002 at Concordia Lutheran Church - Jamestown, N.D., with Rev. Robert Leiste officiating.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 4, 2002 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home - Jamestown, N.D.

Burial: Gem Cemetery - Woodworth, N.D.
