Art Reile

Arthur Alvin Reile, 86, of Jamestown, ND died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Jamestown Hospital after a couragous battle with cancer.

Arthur Reile was born March 26, 1918 in Cleveland, ND, the son of Jacob and Dorothy (Lautt) Reile. Art grew up on a Cleveland farm and attended rural schools, one year at Sheyenne River Academy. In 1935 he moved with his parents to the Zink Farm, southeast of Jamestown. Art married Isabelle Eisenman on May 12, 1939. He farmed with his parents until 1973. He and his family moved to Jamestown in 1962. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jamestown.

Art enjoyed singing with his family and with many various singing groups.

He is survived by his wife, Isabelle of Jamestown, ND; one son, Loman (Sharon) Reile of Ness City, KS; one daughter, Arlys (Bob) Stampka of Bismarck, ND; three grandsons, Bruce (Cheryl) Reile. Brett (Nancy) Stampka, and Matthew (Kyla) Stampka; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harry (Darlene) Reile of Lincoln, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents and awaits the coming of his Saviour in clouds of glory.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jamestown with Pastor David Stuart officiating.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from 9:00AM to 8:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:30PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
