Audrey Brower

Audrey Brower, 76, Millarton, North Dakota died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Audrey Marie Carpenter was born December 25, 1927 in Cogswell, North Dakota, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (O'Neil) Carpenter. She received her education in Cogswell and attended the ND State School of Science in Wahpeton. On September 9, 1947 Audrey married Stanley Brower in Britton, South Dakota. They moved to Millarton, ND where she raised their family. Audrey was active in their church and enjoyed singing in the church choir for 40 years.

Audrey's hobbies included decorating birthday cakes, making candles, crocheting and reading.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 57 years, Stanley, one daughter, Judy Thornsberry, Little Rock, AK, three sons, Richard J. (Marlene) Brower, Riverton, WY; Thomas Brower, Gillette, WY and James (Karen) Brower, Grand Forks, ND, nine grandchildren, Lisa Thornsberry, Kristy Brower Malone, Scott Thornsberry, Andy Brower, Brian Brower, Carrie Brower, Laura Brower, Daniel Brower and Robert Brower, two great-grandchildren, Jake Brower and Taylor Brower and one sister, Imogene Wiles, Hawthorne, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Carpenter.

Funeral Service: 2:30 PM, Friday, November 12, 2004 at the Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, North Dakota with Fr. Duane Cote, celebrant.

Visitation: 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, North Dakota.
