Audrey Hollingsworth, 71, Nortonville, ND, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at SCCI Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Audrey Jean Kamletz was born August 30, 1934 on the Perry Clark farm, northeast of Grand Rapids, ND, the daughter of Lue and Gladys (Gilpen) Kamletz, into a family of 9 brothers and 2 sisters. She was raised on the family homestead in the Berlin, ND area and attended the Berlin Country School. On August 31, 1952, she married James Hollingsworth at Willow Grove Church in LaMoure County, and they made their home on a farm near Nortonville, ND. Audrey was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her farm and her family. She always took the time to take lunches out to the field, run for parts and care for her grandchildren. When her mother was widowed, Audrey cared for her on their farm.
Her loves were caring for her family, cooking and interacting with her grandchildren. She enjoyed having coffee and visiting with friends, word search puzzles and her favorite televisions programs. She loved animals and had a pet raccoon, fawn and several cats.
Survivors include 4 sons: Lyle (Lynn) Hollingsworth, Jud, ND; Kevin (Lori) Hollingsworth, Gresham, OR; Jerry Hollingsworth, Jud, ND; Cory Hollingsworth, Tucson, AZ; 2 granddaughters: Kristi (Justin) Fredenburg, Edgeley, ND; Jolene Hollingsworth, Jud, ND; 3 grandsons: Caleb, Casey, and Colby Hollingsworth, all of Gresham, OR; 5 brothers: Willie (Geneva) Kamletz, Jamestown, ND; Lloyd (Dorothy) Kamletz, Eden Prairie, MN; Elden "Rusty" Kamletz, Edgeley, ND; Roger (Helene) Kamletz, Edgeley, ND; Richard (Jane) Kamletz, Jamestown, ND and a sister, Luella Morris, Renton, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Ervin, Art, Harry and Melvin; a sister, Viola and her loving daughter, Cheryl.
Funeral - 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley, ND with Reverend Larry Gunther officiating
