Barbara Brisben

Barbara Brisben, 81, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her home. Barbara Rae Lechleiter was born July 22, 1933, in Valley City, ND to Edward and Mae (Gordon) Lechleiter. She grew up in Spiritwood, ND then moved to Tacoma, WA from 1942 to 1947. Barbara moved back to Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1951. She married Rex C. Brisben in Biloxi, Miss., in 1952. Barbara was employed at Coast to Coast Hardware for many years. She was employed at Wal-Mart from 1991 to 2005. She is survived by three sons, Keith (Margo), Sidney, MT, Michael (Barbara), Bismarck, ND, Todd (Stacy), Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Karen (Mark) Bivens, Jamestown, ND, Kathleen (Dennis) Weinmann, Harvey, ND; 14 grandchildren, Blake Brisben, Brooke Brisben, John Brisben, Lindsay Brisben, Allisen Brisben Cole, Katie Brisben Lang, Julie Brisben Dearth, Lisa Brisben, Paula Weinmann, Steven Weinmann, Pamela Weinmann Faul, Jessica Bivens, Jason Bivens, Nathan Bivens and 15 great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Dorothy, brother, Wallace and granddaughter, Sara Brisben.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 13 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, June 12 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery.
