Benjamin Roy Ekren

Benjamin Roy Ekren, 13, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Sunday, September 14, 2003 at the Anne Carlsen Center for Children, Jamestown. Ben was born September 1, 1990 in Jamestown the son of James and Kathryn (Stelter) Ekren. Since he was 3 years old, Ben lived and was educated at the Anne Carlsen Center for Children. Ben always smiled and touched the hearts of all that knew him.

Ben is survived by his parents of West Fargo, ND; a brother, Brenton Ekren of the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO; his maternal grandmother, Jean Stelter of Jamestown; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Grant Alan Ekren; his maternal grandfather, Earl Stelter; paternal grandfather, August Ekren; paternal grandmother, Ada Mae Tweten and his paternal step-grandfather, Bruce Tweten.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2003 at Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Steve Berntson officiating.

Memorial Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, September 19, 2003 at the Anne Carlsen Center for Children.

Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota
