Bernadette Reinpold

Bernadette Reinpold, 81, Alcester, SD, formerly of Jamestown, ND died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Morningside Care Center, Alcester, SD.

Bernadette "Patsy" Reinpold was born February 11, 1928 in Mena, AK, the daughter of Grover C. and Jessie Ann (Alvey) Konkler. She was raised and attended school in Arkansas graduating from high school in 1946. She attended Arkansas State University for one year and then worked as a Lab Technician for several years. She moved to Nevada where she worked with her brother, Ed, at his lumber yard. On August 7, 1969, she married Tony Reinpold at Kent, WA where he was working for Boeing Aircraft. When Tony retired in 1985, they moved to Jamestown, ND. In 2002, she entered the Morningside Care Center in Alcester, SD. Tony died in 2005.

Bernadette was a member of St. James Basilica.

Survivors include her son, Alan, Fairview, SD and 1 sister, Sister Bernadine Redwine of the Sisters of Mercy, Mount St. Mary's Convent, Little Rock, AK.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers: Ed and Jim Konkler and 2 sisters: Alice Swaty and Ana Balf Riley.

Funeral - 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND

Prayer Service - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Friday

Interment - Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
