Bernett Entzminger

Bernett Entzminger, 69, Ypsilanti, North Dakota died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his home.

Bernett was born March 16, 1939 in Alfred, ND, the son of Lawrence and Frances (Wolf) Entzminger. He was raised on the family farm near Ypsilanti, ND. He married Agnes Vokenroth on October 14, 1966. He farmed with his brothers, Eugene and Lawrence.

Bernett was a lifetime Elks member and served on the board of the Ypsilanti Elevator for nine years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and collecting and restoring John Deere toys. He was well known for his sense of humor as reflected in his unique creations and Halloween fun.

Bernett is survived by his wife, Agnes, Ypsilanti; two daughters, Lisa Entzminger, Jamestown and Amy Entzminger, Duluth, MN; one granddaughter, Madison, Jamestown; 2 brothers, Lawrence Entzminger, Ypsilanti and Darrell Entzminger, Jamestown; five sisters, Esther Radtke, Jamestown, Delores Plinski, Spokane, WA, Arvilla Job, Portland, OR, Inez Wagenman, Portland, OR and Valerie Orr, Ypsilanti, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Wade; and one brother, Eugene.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor JoAnne Moeller officiating.

The family suggests memorials to the Jamestown Hospital Hospice.
