Bernice Bahr

Bernice S. Bahr, 82, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Bernice Sophia Bahr was born April 12, 1924 in New Salem, ND the daughter of Grover and Mathilda (Thiel) Bahr. She moved to Jamestown in the late 1960's and worked at Lil's Pizza Corner beginning in the early 70's and enjoyed working there. She moved to the Gardenette Homes in 1989 where she enjoyed visiting with people and sending lots of greeting cards to numerous friends and family. She moved to Hi-Acres Manor in 2002.

Bernice is survived by a sister, Delores Fossen, of Valley City, ND and a brother, Royal Bahr, of Fayettesville, NC and friend, Stella Wheeler of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Orville Bahr and a sister, Marilyn Smith.

Funeral Service: 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to Noon, Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Spring Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
