Beryl A. Renier, 92, Moorhead, MN died on Monday, March 24, 2008 at Eventide Senior Living Community, Moorhead, MN.
Beryl A. Renier daughter of Ben and Alma (Sandon) Beach, was born September 25, 1915, at Leaf River, MN and lived in Wadena, MN until moving to Jamestown, ND with her family in 1923. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1933, graduated from Hilde Business School in Jamestown, and worked for the M.A. Nashold Company and the Coca-Cola Company in Jamestown. She married Jule J. Renier on February 14, 1940. After her husband's death in 1968, she worked at the Stutsman County State Bank for 12 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she served as financial secretary and as a member of the Asbury Circle for many years. She was a member of the Jamestown Hospital Auxiliary, volunteered at the hospital front desk and at the gift shop, was on the Crafts Committee, and knit baby caps for the newborn babies for many years. She was presented the North Dakota Volunteer Action Award by the Governor on behalf of the North Dakota Coordinators of Volunteer Services. Among those who were blessed to share her life are son, Dr. Gary (Sharon) Renier, Fargo, ND; step-daughter-in-law, Ruth Renier, Detroit Lakes, MN; three granddaughters, Marcia (Mark) Caspers, Fargo, ND, Paula (Kirk) Bennett, Lakeville, MN, Lisa (Trevor) Betts, Lakeville, MN; step-grandson, Mark (Mary Jo) Renier, Roswell, GA; five great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, three step great-granddaughters, one niece, Marlene Ruff, Sioux Falls, SD, one nephew, Roland (Sandy) Ruff, West Fargo, ND, three nieces in Montana and one niece in Colorado. She was preceded in death by an infant son; parents, Ben and Alma Beach; husband, Jule Renier; sister, Vivian (Ruben) Ruff, daughter, Julie Becker; step-grandsons, Robert Renier, Craig Renier, and step-son, Lloyd Renier.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, March 28, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. Kenrad Pedersen, officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 27 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery
