Bette J. Lien

Bette Jo (Enderle) Lien, 77, in Jamestown ND, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2018.

Bette, daughter of Marlin and Bette Olsen, was born February 2, 1941 in Kansas City, Kansas. She met and married Allen R. Lien on March 5th 1960 in Portland, Oregon. She became a proud career military wife who raised 5 wonderful children. They were blessed to raise their children across the USA, Germany, and finally settling down in Jamestown ND.

Bette loved her family, reading books, needle point, and riding motorcycles. She enjoyed all animals, performing with her horse in the local drill-team, and participating in multiple wagon train rides. And most of all, she enjoyed the thrill of finding the perfect deal at every treasure store she came across.

Bette is survived by her five children, Pamela (Steve) McCall, Denise (Clayton) Hillstrom, Allen Jr, (Karen) Lien, Donna Lien, Marlin (Julie) Lien. Grandchildren Eric, Jennifer, Chris, Tom, Ashley, Nick, Melissa, Josh, Amber, Kristina, Jeff, and foreign-exchange granddaughter Olga. Great-grandchildren Jacob, Wesley, Kaetom, Zoe, Caleb, and Aria.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and a grandchild Amy.

Services for Bette Lien will be held at 3:00 pm on April 16, 2018 at Eddy Funeral Home. Burial will be later this spring.
