Betty Pfarr, 71, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, February 4, 2008 at her home.

Betty Lou Miller was born February 1, 1937 in Tuttle, North Dakota, to Jake and Elizabeth (Stern) Miller. Betty Lou attended elementary school in Tuttle and graduated from Jamestown High School. On September 7, 1956, she married Carl G. Pfarr at the First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown. Betty Lou was a secretary for many years at Kurda Mill's and at Farmer's Union, Jamestown. She was a very caring person and enjoyed helping others. She was an excellent decorator with an eye for color. Betty Lou enjoyed her family and all her numerous friends in Jamestown and El Paso, TX. Her love for them showed in everything she did.

Betty Lou is survived by her husband, Carl, Jamestown, ND; one daughter, Pamela Pfarr, El Paso, TX; one son, Jeffrey (Eileen) Pfarr, Sanborn, ND; mother, and father-in-law, Elizabeth and John Leimer, Jamestown, ND; two sisters, Geraldine (Ray) Krieger, Lodi, CA, Patricia (Kent) Otto, Grace City, ND and many nieces and nephews whom she treasured.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jake Miller; infant twin daughter, Penny Jean Pfarr and nephew, Brian Jay.

Memorial Service: 11:00AM, Thursday, February 7, 2008, at the First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown, with Rev. Richard Reynolds officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at the All Souls Prairie Chapel, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Jamestown Hospice.
