Beverly Kaczmarski

Beverly Kaczmarski (Rohde), from Pettibone, ND, advanced to the next level of her spiritual journey on September 5, 2012. Memorial services will be held in Pettibone, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM.

Beverly was a teacher who loved working with children. She taught first and second grades in the Pettibone school system for 30+ years and touched many lives, and a little bit of Bev lives on in each of them.

Bev was a people person and enjoyed talking to everyone, even people she had just met, as though they were old friends.

Bev was born, raised and lived almost her entire life in Pettibone. For the past 15 years, Bev spent her summers in Pettibone and her winters in Donna, TX. In 2010, Bev sold her home in Pettibone and moved to spend year-round in Donna. Now Bev is returning to continue the next leg of her journey in the place it started.

Bev had many interests, including playing the piano, golfing, shooting pool, hunting pheasants, and continuing her loving husband, Pete?s, prolific vegetable garden (although she did reduce the number of tomato plants).

During Bev?s life, her family included: her husband Pete; her children Jeff and his wife Mary, Jennifer, her husband Rob and their children and grand children, and Fred and his wife Paula; her sisters Joyce and her husband Cal, and Fern and her husband Bill; her brothers Bud and his wife Eunice, Hank and his wife Delores, Lorenz and his wife Opal, and Glen; sister-in-laws Carol and her husband Lyle, and Jan and her husband Tuffy; and 22 nieces and nephews. Bev?s life also touched hundreds of students and friends; lots of unknown people she talked to while standing in checkout lines; and about 6 billion people she didn?t have the chance to meet, but whose lives she would have touched if given a little more time.

Memorial services for Bev will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012, 2:00 PM, in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Pettibone, ND. Candyce Cook Wick will facilitate the service and Eddy Funeral Home will serve the family.
