Blanche Blahna

Blanche L. Blahna, 93, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Friday, October 15, 2010 at Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown, North Dakota. Blanche Price was born December 28, 1916 in Courtenay, North Dakota to Orville and Gracie (Van Winkle) Price. She attended school in Wimbledon, North Dakota. Blanche worked in the food and beverage industries for many years. On January 20, 1936, she married Lance Blahna in Jamestown. Blanche was a member of Eagles, DAV & American Legion. She enjoyed sewing, dancing and music. She is survived by five daughters, Darlis (Wilbert) Reister, Medina, ND, Mary (John) Wentzell, Moorhead, MN, Arla (Paul) Emo, Jamestown, ND, Connie Harstad, Duluth, MN and Janeen (Ken) Tanata, Jamestown, ND; 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, brother and son-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Dream Team at Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home or charity of choice.
