Brian L Clemens

Brian L. Clemens, 57, of rural Jamestown, ND, passed away peacefully, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, surround by his family at his home early Saturday morning, June 13, 2015.

Brian Lloyd Clemens was born on April 11, 1958, in Jamestown, the son of Lloyd and Mollie (Walker) Clemens. He grew up on the family farm southwest of Jamestown in Lenton Township. Brian graduated from Jamestown High School in 1976 and went to work in Williston, ND. He was united in marriage to Debra Price on June 12, 1982 in New Town, ND. They returned to Jamestown where Brian worked for Wedgecor and farmed with his dad. The family moved to the family farm in Lenton Township where Brian became the 4th Generation to farm there, raising small grains. He also worked nights at the Jamestown Sun, and later worked 11 years at Newman Signs.

Brian was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown. He was the Lenton township tax assessor for 26 years. Brian was an avid golfer and member of Gackle Country Club. He coordinated a fantasy football league filled with his dear friends that continued for 30 years. He was a man of few words, but great humor and wisdom.

Brian is survived by his wife, Debra; son, Justin (Sara) of Bottineau, ND; daughter, Megan (Casey) Aldinger, of rural Jamestown; 4 grandsons, Conner & Ty Aldinger and Jase & Drake Clemens; father, Lloyd Clemens, Jamestown; and 2 brothers, Alan (Jackie) Clemens, Chugiak, AK and Wayne (Wendy) Clemens, Fargo, ND. He had numerous life long friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie Clemens and brother, Gerald Clemens.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Erik Weber officiating.

Visitation: None scheduled.
