Bruce Thiesen, 53, Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at his home in Jamestown, ND.
Bruce Allen Thiesen was born July 10, 1955 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND, the son of Daniel and Lydia (Jeske) Thiesen. He lived with his family in Sykeston, ND until 1960, when they moved to Jamestown, ND. He attended school in Jamestown, ND. Following his schooling he worked for County Market and later Hugo's grocery store, both in Jamestown.
Bruce loved animals from his childhood, and raised many different types of animals.
Survivors include his mother, Lydia Thiesen, Jamestown, ND; a son, Neil Valenta, Jamestown, ND, a sister, Linda Thiesen Kramer, Hatton, ND and 3 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral - 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND
Visitation - 1 hour prior to services at Lisko Funeral Chapel on Sunday
Interment - 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2008 at New Home SDA Cemetery, New Home, North Dakota
