Brycen J Baumbach

Brycen J. Baumbach, 19, of Spiritwood, ND, passed away early Thursday morning, October 5th, 2023 in Wahpeton, ND.

Brycen James was born September 26, 2004 in Jamestown, the son of Larry Baumbach and Toni VanEaton. He attended Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Jamestown High School in 2023. Brycen was enrolled at North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.

Brycen was a talented young man. He was constantly dragging trucks from the rock pile to get them running again. He enjoyed working on motorcycles, snowmobiles and vehicles. There wasn't anything he couldn't get running. He was never one to make sure he had enough gas in whatever he was driving, so he did a lot of walking. Most importantly, he enjoyed causing chaos with his friends.

During his high school days Brycen worked for Bear Ranch and Lettenmaier Farms. Brycen was currently employed with Butler Machinery, Jamestown, attending their diesel Think Big Program at NDSCS.

Brycen is survived by his mom, Toni VanEaton; dad; Larry (Kimberly); his brothers, Wyatt (Maddy) and Marcus Andres (Kourtnee); sister, Olivia; step brothers, Austin and Alex Andersen; best bud, Ben Matzke; special girl, Josie Hanson; grandma, Clara Peterson; grandpa, Joel VanEaton; grandparents; Gary and Becky Baumbach; step grandma, Carol Kessler; great-grandma Donna Dikoff; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; three great uncles, Dallas and Jordy Baumbach and Jay VanEaton.

Funeral Service – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Michelle Brennen officiating.

Visitation – 1:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial – Spiritwood Cemetery, Spiritwood, ND.
