Burnette Schlenker

Burnette Schlenker, 88, Jamestown died Friday, August 15, 2014 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown. Burnette was born February 26, 1926 in Kulm, ND the daughter of Clifford & Agda (Bradford) Zachrison. She attended and graduated from Kulm High School. She married Arthur Schlenker November 18, 1945 in Kulm, ND. They made their home in Kulm and farmed until 1984. They moved to Fargo and managed apartments and she worked for Case Wise grocery. They moved back to Jamestown in 1995, Art died September 8, 1996. She continued to work until entering Roseadele Nursing Home and later to Ave Maria Village.

She was an excellent cook and baker making many German and Swedish dishes.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne Schlenker (Diane Schultz), West Fargo, ND; his children, Justin (Heather), Jack and Tatum. Kenwood Schlenker, West Fargo, ND; his children, Amy (Sanford) Tanner, Jacob and Evan, Amanda (Travis Hagen), Willow and Nora. Todd (Beckie) Schlenker, his children, Mariah and Sierra.

Granddaughter, Lonna (Jim) Wise, and her children, Cole and Carter.

Sisters, Audrey Roloff, Minneapolis, MN and Renae Moldenhauer, Gackle, ND

She was preceded in death by, parents, husband, one son (Jeffrey), two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation; 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday, August 18, 2014 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service; 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Good Shepherd Chapel at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, ND
