Carl Bollinger

Carl Bollinger, 80, Edgeley, ND, died Monday, October 23, 2006 at Manor St. Joseph, Edgeley, ND.
Carl John Bollinger was born November 6, 1925 on the family farm in Pottsdam Township in Dickey County, near Merricourt, ND, the son of Louis and Marie (Biederstad) Bollinger. He was raised on the family farm and attended the township school and then Edgeley High School. He then worked for several farmers in the area until 1950, when he moved onto his own farm 6 miles south of Edgeley, ND and farmed with his brother, Arthur, and later with his nephews, Al and Gene. He farmed until retiring in 1987, but continued to live and help out on the farm until 2003 when he moved to the Manor St. Joseph in Edgeley, ND.
Carl was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND. He enjoyed watching sporting events, playing cards and driving around the country-side checking out the crops and the livestock.
Survivors include a brother, Arthur (Leona) Bollinger, Edgeley, ND; nephew, Al Bollinger and his family and several other nieces and nephews around the country.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Marie; 3 sisters: Ida (Verlin) Conley; Mae (Jack) Maier; Ruth (Edward) Walker and 3 nephews: Gene Bollinger, Jim Maier and Milo Walker.
Funeral - 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND
Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
Interment - Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
