Carol Manning

Carol Manning, 64, Jamestown, ND, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Grand Forks, ND, under hospice care.

Carol Havelick was born March 12, 1948 to Beulah (Sullivan) and Robert Havelick. She attended Jamestown Public School graduating in 1966. After graduating from high school Carol attended NDSU and graduated from MSU with honors. Carol loved working on crossword puzzles and was a voracious reader. Her love of gardening was evident in her home. Carol worked at Interstate Seed in Fargo for nearly 30 years and after retiring returned to Jamestown to care for her mother. Carol was a life long member of Grace Episcopal Church in Jamestown. Carol is survived by a son, John (Darci) Miller, Grand Forks, ND and their children, Paul, Megan, Cole, Seth and Dean; sister, Laurel Dewald, Rochester, MN; two nephews, Tony (Nicole) Dewald, Waynesboro, VA and David (Tracey) Dewald, Verona, WI; two nieces, Stephanie Dewald, Chicago, IL and Pamela (Brett) Boxell, Dassel, MN along with several favorite cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gayle Andersen, brother-in-law, Gordon Dewald, nephew, Justin Nogosek and several aunts and uncles.

Thank you to friends and family, Kim Kallhoff, Karen and Paul Senne, Annette Johnson, and Beth Liudahl for all their help during Carol's illness. A very special thank you to Darci Miller for her excellent care during the past few weeks.
