Carolyn Jean Voegeli died October 30, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born May 20, 1933 in Brookfield, Missouri, to Raymond and Katherine Swain. She moved with her family to Portland, Oregon, where she graduated from high school and worked at Ben Franklin Bank.
She met and married Rev. Roland Voegeli while he attended seminary in Oregon. The two moved back to North Dakota where they served several United Methodist churches during their ministry until Roland's death in 1978.
Carolyn loved family/friends, church, naming squirrels, talking to the birds and recently she exclaimed, ""How Beautiful!"", at seeing new snow on the mountaintops near her home. She loved the role of minister's wife, mother and spiritual teacher.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Nancy of Minneapolis, MN; son Steve and partner, Kari Larson of Minneapolis, MN; son Craig and partner, Shawn Gensch of Salt Lake City, UT; son Jeff of Orlando, FL; sister, Marsha Dennis, Cedar Rapids, IA and many special in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roland, one daughter, Diane and siblings, Janet and James.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church in Jamestown.
Visitation: 3:00 to 7:30 PM, Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
