Catherine Klostreich

Catherine Klostreich, 92, Medina, ND, died Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Hi-Acre Manor, Jamestown, ND.
Catherine Margaret McGruder was born February 28, 1913 at Chicago Township, southeast of Medina, ND, the daughter of Owen and Margaret (Meade) McGruder. She was raised on the family farm and attended the township school. After her schooling she helped out on the family farm. On January 8, 1939, she married Edwin Klostreich at St Mathias Catholic Church in Windsor, ND and they moved to Billings, MT. They returned to North Dakota and bought a farm east of Medina where they lived and worked until 1967 when they retired from farming and moved into Medina. From 1972 to 1988, Catherine worked for the Medina School District in the school kitchen.
Catherine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the St. Mary's Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening and her family.
Survivors include 3 sons: Vern, Albert Lee, MN; Duane (Judy) Cleveland, ND; Edwin (Dixie) West Yellowstone, MT; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
