Charlotte D. Schulz, 80, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 at her home in Jamestown, ND, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Charlotte ""Char"" was born February 12, 1929 in Buchanan, ND, the daughter of Clarence and Vesta (Bruce) Gray.
On October 2, 1948 Char married Randy Schulz at New Home Lutheran Church in Woodworth, ND. They farmed in the Woodworth area from 1948 to 1969 when they moved to Jamestown. They were blessed with seven children.
She enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Assn, VFW Auxillary, and she bowled for many years. She loved working in her garden and flower beds, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and getting together with her coffee club gals.
Char is survived by her husband, Randy, of Jamestown; six children, Kenneth (Annette) Schulz, Watertown, SD, Sheila (Doug) Block, Jamestown, Rodney Schulz, Bismarck, ND, Judy (Paul) DeLaurier, Riverside, CA; Brent Schulz (Sue Pfaff), Jamestown, and Kim Borthwick (Jeff Timm), Jamestown; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Sadek, Jamestown and Evelyn Craven, Washington; one brother, Garnet Gray, Casper, WY and a very special cousin, Dolly (Pat) Falk, Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Schulz, her parents; two sisters and one brother.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Thomas Eckstein officiating.
Burial: Buchanan Cemetery, Buchanan, North Dakota
